Megan Elizabeth Cook (Soprano) grew up in Wisconsin as the daughter of two music educators. She spent her school years performing in musicals and her summers touring the United States with a world-class drum and bugle corps and has remained a dedicated student of the musical arts. A sought-after performer in the Chicago music scene, Ms. Cook is proud to be a member of VOX 3 Collective, Vox Venti, Chicago Opera on Tap, Floating Opera, and a founding member of Chicago's Praxila Femina. Her favorite roles include Rosalinde, Die Fledermaus; Donna Anna, Don Giovanni; Fiordigligi, Cosi fan tutte; Countessa Almaviva, Le nozze di Figaro; and Lady with a Cake Box, Postcard from Morocco. Ms. Cook is an also an accomplished concert artist, performing with the Lumina Orchestra as a featured soprano soloist in Mendelssohn's Lobgesang, and with the Chicago Sinfonietta the Mozart Requiem. Other concert performances include both the Fauré and Duruflé Requiems, Verdi's Quattro pezzi sacre, and Stabat Mater sequences by both Pergolesi and Rossini.
