Elizabeth Rudolph
Composer
Elizabeth began composing at
age 14 under the tutelage of
Dr Alan Hirsch. She attended
Interlochen Arts Camp and
Interlochen Arts Academy where
she continued her composition
and music theory study with
Dr Elaine Broad. She was
awarded the Johann Joseph Fux
award for tutoring her fellow
students in theory at IAA.
She attended St Olaf College,
studying composition with Dr Timothy Mahr
and Dr Peter Hamlin and theory with Dr Charles Forsberg. She has written choral, orchestral, and instrumental chamber music, but her preferred medium is solo voice and song. Her pieces have been performed and/or recorded by VOX3 collective, Third Eye Theater Co., Chicago Fringe Opera, and Opera on Tap-Chicago. She is also an active classical vocalist in the Chicago community.
